What should I bring to class?

New experiences can be challenging and intimidating - but don't worry, you'll be ready for class by just following these simple steps:

  1. Wear comfortable clothing!  Fancy-schmancy clothing is not required.
  2. Bring a bottle or mason jar of water (not necessary but nice to have.)
  3. Smile - you're gonna love it!
Mats, props and blankets are provided and set out for you.  You are welcome to lay your own mat over-top.

What if I've never done yoga before?

While it's helpful to take a beginner yoga workshop or class, it isn't necessary.  During a yoga class I give verbal instructions on how to move and get into poses.  Beginners are welcome at any class.  Alternative options are provided so that everyone is comfortable.  Yoga is for every body.  Let's work together.

What if I have an injury or health issue?

During the online registration process there is a waiver that you go through, part of it identifies any injuries or medical issues you may have.  Please disclose (in confidence,) so we can work together to assist you in having an enjoyable practice.  As mentioned, you have ultimate sovereignty over your body at all times.  Be kind and gentle to yourself.

Do you create custom classes or programs?

The benefits of yoga are wide spread and can have a positive impact on the wellness of athletes, corporate employees, and any other group.  Rhonda is happy to work with you to create a custom program at your location.

Do you have a store?

We have a lovely boutique and reception area at our location.  Samava Yoga Studio is a registered business and must charge HST.

I order DoTerra essential oils direct.

I also carry a collection of gemstones, pendulums, clothing and yoga props.  As well, I have journals, incense, smudging tools and salt products.  Yoga mats, fascia tools, LunaPads, Ayurveda products and whatever else catches my fancy when I'm out and about that I feel will support you in self-care and a personal yoga practice.

All products are available in our boutique.  Online store is coming January 2020.

How can I pay for classes? Do you offer passes?

The studio accepts cash, cheque, debit or credit in person.  You may also pay through the booking system - just follow the prompts - it accepts credit cards.

Passes are available online and at the studio.  Passes offer a discounted rate in exchange for purchasing classes in bulk.  I currently have 4 class and an 8 class pass option as well as unlimited options.

Do you have Gift Certificates?

Samava Yoga Studio does have gift cards available at the studio as well as an online option through the booking system.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have.
