Yoga 101 (2 class series) $40+HSTDesigned to teach the basics of yoga, including proper positioning and common breathing techniques. If you're new to yoga this is a beneficial series to take. Head into any yoga class with confidence and an understanding of the basics and what to expect. Learn how to stand, breath, and flow - safety, alignment, internal muscle control are all discussed and explored, along with common props and equipment. This 2 class series is offered every month throughout the year.
YOGA CLASSES - 60 minutes $16+HST
Morning Glory - Early Morning Flow
Join us for an early (6am) class designed to gently waken your body to start your day.
Gentle yoga is a hidden gem of a yoga style. Not only is it appropriate for a wide spectrum of practitioners, contrary to popular belief, a gentle class isn't necessarily an “easy” one. It does move at a slow and steady pace. Asanas are primarily floor-based, reclined or seated with few, if any, standing poses.
Rest, Reflect & Restore
Yin yoga is a style of yoga that is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia.
Buti yoga is a unique practice, known for it's cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement, and conditioning. Created by celebrity trainer Bizzie Gold, it's designed to offer a calorie-scorching, body-sculpting, and dynamic yoga practice.Mindful Slow Flow
Exploring the sweetness of moving mindfully and allowing the breath to guide movement, flowing through asana. Turning inward as the flow builds strength and flexibility in the body. Truly a union of body and mind-yoga!
Chakra Yoga Flow
Join me for a yoga class where we work with the energy and vibrations of gemstones and crystals - varies from class to class. This is a flow class that starts low, builds to an active flow, then comes down slow. Gemstones and crystals are cleansed before class and provided for you. The studio has a collection of ethically mined gemstones for purchases if you would like to start or add to your personal collection.
A practice of conscious movement, breathing exercises and chakra meditations combined with DoTerra essential oils especially designed to help you to let go of what no longer serves, so you can have more peace, inspiration and joy.
A regular flow yoga class, featuring warm up of muscles before coming into sun salutations (surya namascar) and flow variations with a cool down period followed by savasana.
Quickie Classes 30 minutes $8+HST
Currently offering Gentle and Flow quick classes that you may fit in your lunch hour. Wednesday at noon and Friday at noon.
Meditation Classes 30 minutes $8+HST
Offering body scan meditation class on Tuesday and Thursday at 7am. This is a guided meditation class. A silent meditation class is offered on Saturday mornings. We supply seated cushions and mats to support your preference of seated or laying down meditation time.
Seasons: Vata, Kapha or Pitta $16+HST/class
(We are currently in Vata season)
These classes are designed around the Ayurveda doshas. Each class focuses on the particular dosha of the season that we are in, with a goal of assisting in countering the effects of the season on our bodies.
Classes are offered depending on the season.
Please note these classes are different to the Personal Dosha Series.
Vata (Grounding) - a practice of yoga poses, breathing exercises, and meditation designed to ground vata and calm the nervous system.
Pitta (Cooling) - a practice designed to cool the fire of the season by releasing heat and tension in the body .
Kapha (Warming) - a practice created to increase heat, offsetting the cold and muddy season - starting slow to invite lightness into the body and move stagnation before adding a faster pace with a focus on heart opening asanas.
Luna Workshop Series
Luna Kisses ~ New Moon Wishes™ (New moon) $40+HST
New moons symbolize new beginnings and that's our focus during each new moon class. Each Luna Wishes class is timed with the new moon and we work with the specific astrological sign that corresponds to it. This is a lovely session that combines a moon flow with time to create your New Moon wishes. Together we create and participate in a powerful intention setting circle to welcome to new cycle and express our wishes to the Universe. Time to reflect and journal are provided.
Luna Glow ~ Let it Go™ (Full moon) $40+HST
Classes are timed with each full moon throughout the year working with the specific astrological sign that corresponds with each moon. This is a lovely session that combines a gentle yoga flow and a releasing ceremony.
Time to reflect and journal are provided.
Wheel of Life Series
Alchemy & Abundance $45+HST
Working with the power of the universe, you'll create a your own personalized cheque of abundance. Experience an asana flow and a closing circle ritual. We use the will of intention, laws of attraction and the power of the feminine spirit to help manifest positivity into our lives. We work in harmony with celebrations on the wheel of life through the year. Spring and Autumn Equinox are recognized along with the Summer and Winter Solstices.
MONTHLY BOOK CLUB
2 Month Book Club Series $80+HST
Monthly Book Club $45+HST
(12:30pm - 2:30pm last Sunday of each month)
Book & workbook is included in the price (a value of $24.99-$44.99)
Join us for 1 or 2 sessions depending on the book. Each session includes a 30 minute yoga class followed by refreshments in our lounge and a lively chat.
